Buenos Aires Golf Club

The Buenos Aires Golf Club opened in 1994. Just one year later, in 1995, the club hosted the Argentine Open and the South American Amateur Championship. In 2000 this course also hosted the EMC Golf World Cup, when the Americans Tiger Woods and David Duval defeated in the last round the argentine team (Eduardo Romero and Angel Cabrera). Designed by Robert Von Hagge, the Buenos Aires Golf Club is said to be the best course in the country. This 7000 yards, par 72 course is full of water and bunkers with excellent greens and a marvelous maintenance. The club haves three different 9 holes courses: Green, Blue and Yellow. All of them interesting and challenging designs. In 2005 Golf digest ranked The Buenos Aires Golf Club in the top 100 courses around the world.

Jockey Club Blue and Red Golf Courses
(San Isidro, 20kms north, 30 min)

The Jockey Club is a club with a lot of tradition where all of the Argentine Presidents were members. It was founded in 1880 and has 36 holes designed by the best designer in the century Allister Mackenzie, the same designer as Augusta National, host of the Masters Tournament in the U.S.A. Its two courses (the blue and the red one) characterize for having holes for the strategic golfer. The Jockey Club hosted a great amount of the most important tournaments, such as the Argentine Open, the World Cup, the European Tour and the most important amateur championships. And the best golfers in history played here, too, such as Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Tom Watson, Gary Player, Craig Stadler, Byron Nelson, Sergio Garcia and many others. In 2005 Golf digest ranked The Jockey Club Red Course in the top 100 courses around the world

Olivos Golf & Country Club
(Del Viso, 42kms north, 45 min)

The Olivos Golf Club is, by far, one of the best courses in the country. In 2005 Golf digest ranked Olivos Golf in the top 100 courses around the world. In this course the Argentine Masters Tournament has been played for 14 continued years, being the winner, stars of international golf such as Payne Stewart, Bernard Langher, Gary Player, Roberto de Vicenzo, Vicente Fernandez, Vijay Singh and Craig Stadler. The Argentine Open was played here many times, as well as the most important amateurs tournaments. This 27-holes course is characterized by having a land with lot of ramps and old trees which make it a golf paradise.

Martindale Golf & Country Club
(Pilar, 28 Miles, north, 55 min.)

Martindale, used to be an “estancia” that belonged to an English man. Then, as years went by, the development of an important real estate project was analyzed, taking advantage of the beauty of the place and its short distance from Buenos Aires. In 1988 Caprile and Capdepont start with the construction of the course within the old park of the ‘estancia’. The idea was that the course should be enjoyed by the club members and,at the same time, it should by worthy for a great championship. The golf course was inaugurated in 1989 and is a 72-par course of 6,900 yards, which constitute one of the best trails in Argentina, not only for its exquisite design achieved by the architects maintaining the essence of an old park, but also for the beauty of the place and excellent maintenance of the course that characterizes said club. This course was host of the most important tournaments in the country, including the Argentine Open and the Argentine Amateur Championship.

Pilar Golf Club
(Fatima, 60kms north, 55min)

Destined to be South America's premier golf course, this magnificent 18-hole, par 72 course of 7.123 yards already has critics raving about the beauty of its natural setting. Perfectly nestled in the rolling Argentinean countryside, the course is displayed around numerous lakes, wetland, native trees and ornamental grass outcroppings. It presents one of Argentinean's truest and purest tests for golfers of all categories. Pilar Golf Club was designed by the international architectural team at American Golf Course Design LTDA, South America's most prestigious design firm. Golfers will appreciate such details as the truest bent-grass putting surfaces, the finest hybrid Bermuda fairways, challenging white sand bunkers and expansive lakes, all designed and maintained to create an unforgettable golf experience. Pilar Golf Club hosted the Argentine PGA Championship, Argentine Amateur Championship and the Argentine Open. One of the few courses of Buenos Aires where carts are available.

Highland Park Golf & Country Club
(Del Viso, 40kms north, 45 min.)

Llao Llao Golf

Highland Park Golf & Country Club is one of the most challenging courses in Buenos Aires. Its 72-par layout is qualified as 73.8, due to its length of 7,000 yards. Many obstacles, like out of bounds, water hazards and cross bunkers, will appear combined in most of the holes. In addition, speedy and moving greens will require a very good putting skill for achieving a reasonable score. It is a beautiful and competitively presented course during all the year. This combination of enviable maintenance and difficulty, are key elements for its designation as host of the most important tournaments of the Argentine Amateur Ranking.

The links of the 18-hole Llao Llao golf course are unique in Argentina and they are considered among the best in the world. The golf course has undulating greens and fairways sown with fine grass and environed by Lake Nahuel Huapi and ancient woods of big lush trees. Its perfectly integrated bunkers, the water traps and greens, each one of them different from the rest, make an interesting and balanced ensemble. The possibilities offered by this golf course include golf classes, weekend tournaments, golf club rental and a great handicap: absolute silence for a perfect concentration. It also offers the unique opportunity to experience a innovative and exciting new sport: Golf Cross.

The Club House invites golfers to take a well-deserved rest, a special gift for golfers who are also nature lovers, offering a relaxed and warm atmosphere to enjoy delicious regional dishes. It also provides a driving range, two practice putting greens and also important services for golfers: professional assistance, golf club rental and a completely refurbished Proshop.
